We just finished a building a new house that included a new pool by J Caldwell Pools. J Caldwell Pools exceeded our expectations at every step of the process. Tanya was so helpful and knowledgeable in working with us to design our pool and pick out the finishes within our budget. The construction crew was one of the best contractors on site. We never had to worry about them doing excellent work on time and on budget. Finally the checkout/commissioning crew did a great job getting the pool running and showing us how everything worked. We are eagerly waiting for summer so we can begin using our new pool.

We purchased a home where J Caldwell installed a pool a couple years back. The pool is beautiful and works well. We recently had a minor issue and I didnt know where to turn to address the problem, so I reached out to J Caldwell to see if they could direct me. They were wonderful - helping me immensely and immediately. Even during off hours, FaceTiming me and setting up the appropriate people to come address the issue. I could not have asked for higher touch, better customer service. Would absolutely recommend using them!! Will be using them for a future pool if we ever need!!

After waiting years we finally made the decision to build a pool. A friend recommended J Caldwell and were thrilled that we listened. Tanya Metz is a pool designer wizard and listened to everything we desired. We opted for water features they had never produced. Tanya made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Austin Tidwell oversaw the project, always on-site and ready to answer any questions. Both the pool and spa are exceptional.

J Caldwell Pools did a wonderful job. It was a very smooth process from the planning and design all the way through the construction. They delivered what they promised. The finished product is beautiful.

We couldn't be happier with our new pool!! The processes used by J Caldwell from design thru to startup are top notch. The two design sessions, one at our house and one at their office, got us and our designer on the same page from the start. Our designer brought creativity and practicality to our pool and patio area. We don't have a very big yard, so we are very pleased how our designer maximized the use of what space we had available. The construction process was so impressive. I'm not sure how many different crews there actually were (excavation, decking, plumbing, electric, trenching, tile, plaster, etc.) but we thought our site manager did an excellent job coordinating all the activity. I was impressed with each crew's commitment to precision, even if it was 100 degrees late on a Friday afternoon. They were so diligent to insure the quality of the finished product was nothing short of excellent. Unlike experiences we have had building homes, each crew seemed very aware of the impact they were going to have on the crews that would come after them and made sure there were seamless handoffs. Lastly, our site manager's communication was all we can hope for, providing timely answers to our questions (no matter how silly!) and keeping us informed each step of the way. I think he set the tone for all the crews which were very friendly and very professional. This is the second pool we have constructed with J. Caldwell. Obviously we were happy with the first but I think the second one may have gone even better. And if we ever have the opportunity to build a third, there will be no hesitation on who we will select.

We had a great experience with J Caldwell Pools! We wanted a pool and hot tub, patio extension, outdoor kitchen and pergola. Ashley worked up a fantastic design with added details to tie in the outdoor space with our home! Everything went smoothly from initial concept to installation. We absolutely LOVE our backyard!!

Had a pool build from another builder and after a few years had issues with it, John was nice enough to come out to our house and take a look, and was honest as the day is long, told us the prior builder did a pretty good job but that he only saw a few things they could have improved on, I expected to hear him talk badly about his competitor but no sir, classy as the day is long! John was incredibly knowledgable about pools and told me stuff about my pool that I didn't even know. I will be using John for Everything Pool related in the future......... Thanks John! Next pool I build is gonna be a Caldwell Pool!

J Caldwell resurfaced our pool and were prompt with good customer service and competitive pricing. When we thought the pool was leaking, they came out and did a thorough investigation. The leak was not from the pool but from our neighbors which was corrected. I highly recommend them.

I couldnt be happier with my J Caldwell pool. I have a Spanish style home (white stucco and red tile roof) so finding the right design was a challenge. Heidi designed something gorgeous and consistent with the style of the home. Sean oversaw construction and kept everyone on track/schedule AND communicated with me the entire time. The process was shockingly easy. I would recommend J Caldwell to anyone building a new pool. They are awesome.

We had our pool design in hand but needed a pool company to execute it and J Caldwell did it perfectly. This was our very first pool to ever own so we needed some extra education time to feel confident as new pool owners. I cant say we actually got that but we did encounter several of their subcontractors who were very knowledgeable and happy to explain each part of the pool building process to us. The pool is beautiful. The entire process took15 weeks? That is from the day they started digging until the last step was complete. We have no idea if that is quick or slow but we are very happy with the end results!

This was my first experience having a pool built. Experience was pretty great. Everyone involved at each phase of the build, was pleasant and knowledgeable. Always willing to help and great follow-thru. Sean was our contact thru the process. I can't say enough great things on his behalf. If I had to build another, I'd go thru J Caldwell Custom Pools, all over again.

I built my pool with J Caldwell in July 2023. This was my 3rd pool to build but first with this company. This was by far the best pool building experience Ive had. The entire staff was very knowledgeable, understanding of my budget and the customer service and communication were amazing. Highly recommended!

We picked J. Caldwell Pools because of their reputation and they were recommended to us. Miranda Martin was our sales rep and she did a phenomenal job. She took our vision of what we wanted and designed exactly what we were hoping for, Brent Schumacher was our project manager and he and his team stayed on task the entire time. From when the first digging and ground breaking to the time we jumped in our pool was exactly 7 weeks. The finished product was exactly what we wanted. We heard all of the horror stories about pool companies taking their time, not finishing the project, blaming subcontractors for poor work or delayed work. We experienced none of that. We highly recommend J. Caldwell if you want your pool done right.

From start to finish a seamless process. J Caldwell Pools is a well oiled machine. Everything aimed at making the customer happy. Tanya, was amazing on the design and startup. Brent is an absolutely awesome superintendent and builder. Ralph and Dustin were great teachers in getting us set up and going. Weve had 4 pools prior to this one, and no comparison on how this went vs. the others.

The construction of the pool was probably the smoothest part of our entire new home build! The finished product is beautiful and we are enjoying it more than we thought possible.

We bought our home 7 years ago because of the yard and the dream of putting in a pool. Because we have waited so long to finally pull the trigger, we took our time doing research and appointments before choosing J. Caldwell. We are currently in the building stage and my husband and I talk often about how grateful we are for choosing this amazing company. Tanya is our pool designer and she was the ONLY ONE out of 5 companies we met with that solved all of our existing elevation and landscape problems/ challenges WHILE giving us what were hoping for in a pool and staying in our budget. She not only listened to what we were saying we wanted, but heard what we weren't saying too. She took the time to ask questions about what we were saying and WHY we wanted what we wanted. The design she delivered was TOP NOTCH. When we saw the pool design our jaws literally hit the floor. The easiest 'yes' we have said during this whole process! Brent, the project manager, is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He knows our project so well that it FEELS LIKE we are his only customers. We feel like we have someone on our team looking out for us! The quick communication is icing on the top for someone who really loves to know whats going on (ME!). We feel confident in our decision to use J. Caldwell for our first pool build and are looking forward to sharing the final project soon!

Hiedi was so helpful in helping us design our pool. She was very informative and knowledgeable from measuring our layout to helping select materials. Caldwell Pools was the very best experience I have ever had with a pool design. My husband is a researcher when it comes to anything. He interviewed over 5 pool companies before we met Heidi. Heidi has been the best since the day we met her, always taking our calls and last minute design changes. She really walked us through the design and helped us understand the process. She kept us up to date with changes and then introduced us to Adam that took us through the construction experience of it all. I have never had such an amazing customer service and construction experience ever. It really is at the hands at both of their help. We built our very first pool with J Cauldwell. They were great from beginning through completion. Sales was helpful and knowledgeable, especially being our first time, and we got a fair price. In construction, rarely is it 100% stress free. But the PM was sure to answer all of our questions, concerns, and needs in a timely and professional manner. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Service on this project has been great. from the original communication with Tanya selling and designing, to Sean building the pool and now Ralph starting the pool up. Everyone has been very responsive and assisted with my questions all the way along.

About a decade ago, I enlisted John Caldwell and his team to build our fairly large and involved custom pool. The process was smooth and without issue. More importantly, I’m writing this review now as we were again recently reminded of the quality in construction, workmanship and also the ongoing support that comes along with working with John. My pool, water features, waterfall, slide, and diving platform have held up wonderfully all these years. I am also STILL able to reach out to his team and ask questions, inquire about upgrades and modifications, and I get responsive, meaningful answers. John doesn’t owe us anything anymore, but his continued willingness to support his product has earned him a customer and a spokesman for life.

J. Caldwell did a fantastic job on our protect from start to finish. Our yard is atypical (small with a steep hill), and they came up with an elegant pool and spa design for us which maximized our space. The project was completed within their stated timelines, even given the difficulties of a pandemic and several days of rain. Our project manager was meticulous with his communication: he was far above average and continuously exceeded our expectations. Each work crew was quick, competent, friendly, considerate, and cleaned up after themselves. We built a pool several years ago in another city, so we had a sense of the project scope and typical difficulties before we began. Our experience with J. Caldwell was far better in every way than our previous experience. I can’t recommend J.Caldwell highly enough.

I am 66 years old and have worked with many companies in my adult life on many home and business projects that involved custom construction and varying ranges of crews and talents. Having our pool built by J Caldwell Custom Pools turned out to meet or beat by far my expectations. It all started with our sales person Tanya. She did a fantastic job of designing our pool and making recommendations in choices of equipment and materials. The finished pool has stunned neighbors in our community. Scott Snow oversaw the building of the pool and proved to be timely and a very effective communicator. When building a pool there are many different crews and talents involved. All of the crews and subcontractors paid extreme attention to detail and worked as diligently as ever I had seen on other projects. We LOVE our new pool and back yard! PS - Be sure you are ready to see your backyard destroyed because it will hurt your heart...but you will love the end result.

J Caldwell did an amazing job on our pool. We worked mainly with Taylor and Scott. They were very easy to work with, communicated often and clearly and provided solid workmanship and service. I’m very pleased and will use them again. FYI we considered them and another very well known pool company in the area and decided to go with Caldwell. I can’t be more pleased. I look forward to working with them again on our next pool (in 20 years).

J Caldwell patiently worked with us the get a pool design that was exactly what we wanted and within our budget. We had the same experience during construction. Scott, our project manager, was patient with us and eased all our concerns throughout the process. One year later we have not had any issues with the pool that could be attributed to J Caldwell. It is a beautiful pool that the entire family enjoys. Overall a very good experience.

I used Caldwell pools for 2 different pool installations and had excellent results on both pools. Follow up work, which was minimal, was outstanding. Truly a well run company.

J Caldwell presented as a full service custom pool builder. We worked with them over several months to design the perfect pool for us. The designer we used (Tanya) was excellent - great to work with! The price we paid was near the top end of the pool companies we looked at. We were lucky and timing worked out quite well for us. Caldwell was able to meet their suggested timelines which was impressive with other contractors we had at the same property. The day-to-day construction was good to very good, and communication throughout the process was decent-could have been better. We believe our project manager was very knowledgeable about the process, but we also felt that he had a lot of projects going on which reflected in a lack of oversight at our job a times. We have not had any problems thus far after the pool has been installed. Overall, I wouldn’t definitely suggest them as someone to include for a custom pool builder as long as you’re looking for a higher end company.

They did a build out of some stonework and an install of artificial turf and the quality of the work was outstanding. They kept us in loop at all times and finished on time. Highly recommended.

Our experience with this company from start to finish was really refreshing. Our designer was great to work with and they were flexible with requests. Our project went well and was on time and got some changes added in as well as part of the project. Only had a few nitpicks but overall would recommend them and would use them again.

They are the best pool builder/contractor i have ever worked with. They know what they are doing and helped us design and build an amazing pool. Any small snags along the way were dealt with professionally and fairly. Great Customer experience all around from design to execution.

Excellent to work with. Design, Construction, and Program Management where spot on. The best construction experience that we have had since moving to Texas. Caldwell team was excellent at moving from design to construction. Braden Johnson was excellent with regard to construction and customer communication. In fact Braden was able to to assist in finding another house contractor after we fired the original for breach of contract and theft.

This is the second pool J Caldwell built for me. Leslie was my designer that helped make my vision a reality. She is so easy to work with, responsive, and knowledgable. She helped me make decisions on a variety of options and the pool is exactly what i wanted!! Scott was the foreman overseeing the build. He was awesome to work with. They were fast, clean and detail oriented. The masons were artistic craftsman and did a beautiful job. My neighbors were suprised at how fast the build was completed and what a great job they did, their professionalism.Everyday someone was here working. Absolutely love working with this team and very glad i chose them.
